    • Physical description: 25 lines per page. Written in thick medium large naskh in black ink with use of red. Soft biscuit paper, hardly translucid, with pulp visible. Fol. 1 and 240 are later additions (European paper). Marginal annotations. Table of contents on fol. 3b-5b. Biographical note on the author, excerpted from Ṭabaqāt al-ʻulamāʼ, and verses of poetry in praise of this book on fol. 1a (later hand). Several short inscriptions and excerpts of various texts on fol. 2a-b. Several inscriptions, including verses of poetry on fol. 7a. Foliation in black ink using Arabic numerals (a few numbers in that foliation wanting). Number of leaves according to modern foliation.
